Hi. I have been searching fr a relatives death for some time now,but had no luck at all. However i have narrowed his death date down, thanks to U.S directories and such.

His name was Luther H Decker and was born around 1854 in PA. He lived in PA for a while, then his last known address was 21 Grant St, Newark, New Jersey. This was in 1927. I know from census, his wife was listed as widowed in 1930.
Even though his death occured between these years and its not a really old death record im searching for, there is no trace of it. I can find every other member of his immediate family regarding birth,deaths and marriages but not him nor his wife.
Any tips on how and where to look for these records would be most appreciated.
