Family history says his father is Elijah "Lige" and mother Isadora Galvilla Gardiner they both died young leaving Sterling an orphan and attending Park Hill Indian orphanage where he met Bertha.

Any help on Sterling prior to 1913 or his parents would be extremely helpful I have Isadora prior to Sterling's birth, nothing at all on Elijah.
