I am not related to Anna Lee Carroll, but I hope this adoption information will help someone. Anna was renamed Dorothy May Boots. She married Joseph C. Atkinson. Her obit lists her name as Dortha May Atkinson, naming Henry Allen and Grace M (Hudson) Boots as her parents. I have a copy of her obit.
Henry Allen Boots was married to Grace M. Hudson. Henry was the son of Israel Boots and Lacy Gadbury. Lacy Gadbury was the daughter of Allen Gadbury and Lucy Ann Townsend, Lucy Ann Townsend was the daughter of Gilbert Townsend and Mary (Polly) Saxon, Mary Saxon was the daughter of John Saxon, Rev. War soldier buried in Blackford County, and Elizabeth Evans.
I do have a great deal of information about the above families which I would be very willing to share.
