In the late 1800's one of my ancestors attempted to unravel a family mystery...he had inherited items from his mother...who's maiden name was Adair.
One of the items he inherited was a family Seal that had been used by his maternal grandfather.
A few days ago...I received a photo of the Seal...& I am hoping that with assistance...the "mystery" of the "which" Adair family we belong to can be solved.
I've read there are subtle differences to these items...and these differences identify the different families.
I'm hoping to connect with a "knowledgeable" person who has the time to help solve this ongoing mystery.
