I have located my ancestors grave. They were buried in 1854 in New London, Henry Iowa, but cold have possibly lived in Des Moines Co.

I realize the death records were not kept very well if at all, in 1854.

I'm wondering if there is somewhere else I should start looking.
Any insight is appreciated.
