My great grandfather William T (probably Thomas) Allen was born in 1837, one of 7 children of Thomas (1808-1897) and Catharine Quigley (1806-1884). Except for William T. all of these Allens were born and buried in Crawford County, PA.
William T. married Elizabeth Wilkin in 1863 in Jo Davies Co., IL, and lived in Chicago by 1864 and had 5 children: George, Lillian, William, Mollie and Joseph (my grandfather), all born in Chicago. The 1900 census has the whole family living together in Chicago; the 1910 census has Elizabeth, widowed, living with her 5 children. Elizabeth continued to live in Chicago with Lillian and William until her death in 1925.
I simply can not find any record of his death or burial. Where is he?
