Seeking information on the SCHREIER and GELOBTER families from this town. I have a copy of the town's Yizkor book (which is the memorial book put together to commemorate victims of the Holocaust in Kalusz/Kalush...which, unfortunately, included just about every Jew in the town [including relatives of mine], save for about *seven* people).
Leib-Josef SCHREIER and Perl (Pearl) GELOBTER had at least three children. One of them was Herbert SCHREIER (Hebrew name may have been Chaim), who came to the US well before WWII and became a doctor. He is the cousin of my great-grandfather Hyman (Chaim) SCHREIER, who was the son of Ephraim (Frank) SCHREIER and Sarah (Sara) DAVID.
Any of these names ring a bell?
