My ggrandparents are Caswell and Sarah Ray. Unfortunately, all birth and death information seems to be on ancestry trees only with no source documents.

My problem is Caswell Bush is thought to be born in Coosa County, AL around 1854. He was the son of Herod and Nancy Sanford. 1960 and 1980 census' show they lived in Five Points, Elmore, Alabama. 1910 census shows them moved to Justice Precinct 4, Taylor, Texas.

Sarah Sallie Ray(e) Bush is thought to be born 26 Dec 1861 in Wetumpka, Elmore, Alabama. Many Ancestry trees show Sarah Bush with death as 26 Dec 1921 death -Taylor, Williamson, TX .

Many Ancestry trees show Caswell Bush with death 26 Jun 1932 - Elmore, Galvin, OK.
*This date for Caswell doesn't make sense to me as I cannot find why Caswell would leave his family in Texas after wife died and go to Oklahoma. He had a brother in OK but not the same location.

Unfortunately, when I was new to Ancestry I just copied the same birth/death information from ancestry trees. So I helped perpetuate the problem if it's not correct. Now, I have removed the death info and have searched about 20 ancestry trees which had also copied the info from other trees.

I am going to write Oklahoma, Texas and Alabama - but if you have any help, I would greatly appreciate it. So far the state research databases don't show my Bushs. A big lesson learned on this one. Thank you, Nan
