I am planning a visit to Alabama in the next few weeks. An ancestor was supposedly born near Evergreen. What resources can I find in Evergreen. The library does not seem to have a website and I have been unable to get contact information for them.

Also, what about county courthouses? Are there other resources such as Historical Societies?
