Looking for information on Johnson Clark of Harrison County WV --- in Harrison County WV in / around 1790s....... he knew Isaac Stackhouse; Preston Beck, etc. He was married to Jemima (maiden name unknown) Clark in 1794 in PA -- county unknown. In 1828, Jemima found out that Johnson had taken up with another woman (while still married to Jemima) and had several children by her. Jemima divorced Johnson 1828 in Franklin County Indiana Chancery Court (I have this deposition). Am trying to find out what happened to a) Johnson Clark after 1828; b) Jemima ? Clark after 1828 and c) their orphaned children after 1828. I am descended from their son, Joshua Clark --- married Rachel Sapp in 1827.
