I have a copy opf marriage license issued to Joseph B. Cochran of Lawrence Co. Ky, and Polly Ann Derefield of Wayne Co., They were married Sept. 17, 1887 in Lousia, witnesses were W.M. Marcum, J.T Lackey, Inez Frank and Jennie Frank. I also have a copy of license issued to David Rice of Lawrence Co. Ky. and Alifair Derefield Lawrence Co. Ky. Does anyone have any information that could tie these Derefield women together?
I cannot find a birthplace for them or who their parents were. Joseph B. Cochran gives his birthplace as N. C. Wilkes Co , but no parents. Thank you in advance.
