Hi board:

A little over a year ago I put in a phone call to the S.F. Catholic Church archive dept. requesting info on my gr grandfather & mother. The lady would only respond to obtaining this information for me if I put it in a letter with details etc. I did and waited for four weeks for the info, but got nothing. So I called again. She gave me the typical lip service that this information was kept in the basement of the church and etc etc etc. So I waited another three weeks and called her again. Still nothing and I'm still waiting! I don't live in the SF. area and I am becoming more frustrated on how to obtain this information, can anyone help with any suggestions? The reason this is so important to me is that three of my gr grandparent's children were put into the orphanage there and I would like to know for sure who surrendered the children and if both parents were killed in the great quake.
