I am seeking information on Ann Cranston (Convict) tried at Central Criminal Court and transported aboard the Tasmania(1) arriving Tasmania 20 Dec 1844
On her Convict Indent she states she is a widow. Family info tells me her husband's name was William Cranston.(her maiden name is suggested to be "Holland" but as yet I can find no reference to this being true.) I do not know how many children William and Ann had in England, but one child did come out with her on the voyage to Australia. If any of this rings a bell I would be extremely pleased to hear from you.
