I wish someone could help me trace my Polson family. I have done everything but go crazy. My father was Cleveland Polson, Jr., and his father, Cleveland Polson, Sr. My grandfather was born in Cheraw but raised in Union County. He had a brother, Leon, and a sister, Martha. Grandad died in '61. His father and mother were John Polson and Martha Sharp. John Polson married again in late life. I am sure he died in the 1930s. I can find no trace of him, not even a hint. I know John Polson lived most of his life in Union, probably working in a textile mill.
