Chapel Bowen b. 24 Dec 1810 in Halifax VA. He married a Wilkins 24 Oct 1842 in Halifax VA. He emigrated to Stokes, NC, and all of his children were born there, all daughters. He died in Stokes on 03 May 1863. Daughters are Mary Elizabeth, Susan Ann, Martha Jane, and Julia Catherine. I am not sure how or if Chapel Bowen ties into my line of Bowens, but trying to determine his parents, and anything else about him.
