I am trying to find out what happened to my husband's great-grandmother, Ruth Carson Tyo.

She was born on April 9, 1904, in Gilmer County, West Virginia. She married Spencer Tyo in September 1921, and they had four children: Kenneth, Rudolph, Marjorie, and Robert.

I cannot find her in any records after 1930, which places her in Parkersburg, WV. I do know that Spencer divorced her at some point, and remarried in 1948 to Clara Brown.

We're guessing that she remarried, since we can't find a death certificate for Ruth Carson or Ruth Tyo. I'm not sure where to look ...
