I am looking for the parents and lineage of some of my Lomax ancestors. We have our Lomax line traced back as far as James Madison Lomax. He was born in 1801 or 1802, was in Talbot County as an adult, but he is the first Lomax recorded in Talbot County that we have been able to find, so I don't think he was born there. He had five wives and approx. ten children. He died in Talbot County, Maryland circa 1862. Some rumors have him born in Baltimore, but I have found no link to that so far. Because there are many Lomax's in Charles County, I thought I would search there for any information that may be available. If you happen to have any information on his parents, I would greatly appreciate knowing about it.
