Is anyone related or know much of the family history of Thomas George St Johnston, who lived in Kings Heath?

He appears in different censuses using different forms of the same surname! He lived variously at "The Poplars" on Valentine Rd in Kings Heath in 1901, previously Brighton Rd, Balsall Heath & Cope St, Ladywood. Believed to have owned a shop on Ladypool Road.
