United Order of American Mechanics' Cemetery

Classification: Query
Once again, I am stuck on a cemetery name and location. In going through some recently found information, I find a number of ancestors were buried in "Mechanics' Cemetery" or "United Order of American Mechanics' Cemetery." No specific location is stated, but based on where most of them lived at the time, I am assuming it is Philadelphia County, and the time period is the early and mid-1800's.

In looking at several normally reliable place name databases, including the USGS online version, I can find no such listing anywhere in Pennsylvania, let along Philadelphia County. Does the name sound familiar to anyone, and can you tell me the correct name and city/township it is located in? I am assuming it is known today by a different name, as that is one explanation for it not being shown in any current database, but I do not even know that for sure, either.

I would be very grateful for any help or suggestions. Thanks.
