Hi there,

I'm trying to trace my Scottish heritage, and needless to say, it's not going well.

Am looking for any living relatives of of Mr's John Claudian (Claudius) Rankin and James Cyrill Cogwell Rankin. Both men found their way to New Zealand circa 1800's (?) and started family's here however, not much is known of their Scottish lineage.

If their names ring any bells for anyone, I'd be very grateful for any help or guidance offered,
