I have posted information on Whalens in California before and this is additional information that might connect to the whalen history I am looking for.

My Paternal Grand father: Edward F. Whalen only information know at this time. Married to Mrs. E.F. Whalen. Child of Mr. Mrs. Whalen; Leslie R. Whalen, b. 9/17/26 in Martinez CA.
I have found two on the social security death list that might be Leslie's father. Both Edward Whalen's were born in california:

#1 Edward Whalen: b. 9/19/1890 d. 11/1971. last known residence Oakdale, California.

#2 Edward Whalen: b. 8/16/1897 d, 6/1970. Last known residence Berkely, California.
Leslie R. Whalen (James A. Howe) attended and graduated from University of California in 1946.
