Researching the Rhinesmith lineage which qppqrently started with Johannes Reinschmitt (sp?) born 1728 in Germany, emigrated to U.S. (Pennsylvania) circa 1756; married Susannah Zimmerman. Trying to backtrack Johannes to "Germany" or point of origin. Also, would like to verify accurate spelling of surname. Perhaps I should be on the Dutch rather than Deutsch board. Any help greatly appreciated.
