I'm trying to track down information on my great grandfather.

His name was Sri Kummar Mohan Varad Raj, according to the notes given to my grandmother by my great grandmother. He married my grandmother Lillian Mae Adams at some point prior to 1936. He met her at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, Hennepin, USA). She went to India with my grandfather for a period of time, but due to reasons better left unsaid, she returned to the US.

They had two children named Varad Anil Mohan Raj and Lillian Camilla Raj.

The only thing I know is that according to the notes, his mother's name was Kamala Devi. I know that he remarried and had at least two sons (supposedly she was poisoned by a servant later in life). According to my father, the older son does not wish to have anything to do with us. I had the information for the brother, but I can't find it. My grandfather refuses to discuss them at all.

On a ship log I found, I am nearly positive that it is him.

I think he might have died around 1960 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.

I am at a complete loss as to how I would find him. His last address is listed at J. M. Raj E.P.O. O. ltd. Golfe Persique Ahwaz/Ahwez. Any idea of where to start? I can't seem to find any resources on the internet to help me figure it out.
