Addressing this in particular to folks from Kingston area.
I have reached the ole brick wall on my Jeremiah Crowley, b c 1821 Co Cork. He was married to Mary O'Gara b c 1829, Ireland. On the St Mary's Cathedral Registry, I have found their marriage and the baptisms of most of their children. I have been provided the following transcription of Jeremiah's death, but cannot find him in the Interments at St Mary's Registry:
Transcription, St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston. Section V. Sacred to the memory of Jeremiah Crawley county of Cork Ireland died in Ottawa 18?? also his wife, Mary Crawley died December 22, 1866 aged ??. ?? their children also E. O'G wife of G. Lesiege aged 22 years.
I know that Jeremiah married Mary's sister Bridget about 1868 and had three more children. I also know that he died by 1879.
My question/request is for anyone who sometimes visits the St Mary's Cemetery to attempt to read the missing pieces of that headstone and even photograph it. I would be willing to offer a trade of anything you might need in sunny San Diego, CA! We have an old cemetery here (mystery writer Raymond Chandler buried there) and a National Cemetery.
