I am the webmaster and web historian for the US 7th Armored Division. I would like to contact the family of Denniston Averill of West Englewood, NJ, who was killed in action 20 December 1944 at Samrée, Belgium, while serving as a 1st Lieutenant commanding a platoon in Headquarters Company of 7th Armored Division Trains.

He left a wife and a daughter, who may have been born after he was killed.
