Hello!

I'm looking for some advice/direction on locating records for 3 sisters. They are:

Helena Gronska, b. 18 Feb 1897 - came to Philadelphia 1913
Julia Gronska, b. 1892 - came to Philadelphia thru NY, 1909
Agata Gronska, b. 1884 - came to Philadelphia thru NY, 1906

All 3 appear to have been born in Brzyna. Helena, my great grandmother, also used "Stada Shunce" (Stary Sacz) as a birthplace on some documents.

Their mother, I believe, was Marya and their father Jozef. This is based on the information on the ship manifests. There was supposedly also a brother, however I know nothing about him, not even a name.

Helen's race seems to be usually listed as Polish, her nationality as Austrian, and on the 1940 census it says her language spoken before coming to the US was German. I believe her religion was Catholic, though I am not 100% sure on that one. Her arrival manifest lists Brzyna, Galicia as her birthplace.

Some wonderful people helped me figure out the town names, and I am hoping that someone may also be able to point me in the right direction on how to find church records, birth records, etc. for Brzyna! I have been reading a lot of Polish genealogy sites, etc. recently, but I could always use more advice!!
