Seeking info on family of Dennis ROOKS found in the 1830 Morgan Co. census. I believe he may have been a land lottery winner. One desc. may be a Joel ROOKS who m. Amy SHAW in Morgan Co. in 1864. Our descendant is Wm. Jack ROOKS b. 1829, who had a brother G. B. ROOKS b. 1825. I'd like to hear from any researchers or descendants on any ROOKS.
