Looking for info on Thomas Pentland, born around 1829 in Northern Ireland, (father reportedly named George) possibly Portadown area. Immigrated from Ireland with wife Deborah Symington and firstborn son Isaac,around 1858-1859. Next children were George, Margaret, Thomas, Lizzie, Alexander, Mervin, William, Moses and maybe a Robert, not listed in order of birth. The family moved into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, reportedly sailing from Georgian Bay area.
Interested in any info on where they may have lived for the 20 years were in Canada, as well as family from Ireland that might be recognizable by names. Reportedly may have been two brothers who remained in Ireland, and possibly some relatives who made the trip with them to Canada. Deborah Symington reportedly came from Milltown area.
