Know, all men by these present that I Jacob Hum of Fairfield Township Columbiana County and state of Ohio Being of weak body but of sound mind and memory thanks be to god for his mercies, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following

First my will and desire is that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my personal estate at the discretion of my exectuor.

Second I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret one bed and bedding worth thirty dollars also one cow worth ten dollars to her, her heirs and assigns forever.

Third, I will and bequeath to my beloved Wife Elizabeth the residue of my estate both real and personal as long as she remains my widow.

Fourth at the death or marriage of my wife Elizabeth I give and bequeath to my son John all my real estate to him his heirs and assigns forever with this exception that he pays to my son Adam, his heirs or assigns twenty dollars within one year after my death or marriage of my wife Elizabeth.

Fifth at the death or marriage of wife Elizabeth my will and desire is that the residue of my personal estate(if any there be) be equally divided amonst my children namely John, David, Jacob, Margaret, Adam and George to them, their heirs or assigns forever.

Sixth I do hereby appoint my son John sole Executor of this my last will and testament here by revoking all former wills by me made.

In testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of November in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and thirtyone 1831

This will was brot into Court xxxxx of the subscribing witness thereto being qualified say that they saw testator sign said will, that they attested and subscribed the same as witness in presence of the same that the testator when he signed said will was of sound mind and memory of full age & not under any restraint, where upon said will is approved & ordered to be recorded with the proof now taken.
