My great great grandparents were Harris (also known as Harry or Harrison) JOHNSON and Margaret WILKERSON. He was born in about 1805 in Chatham County, NC. She was also born in Chatham County, in about 1810-1815. I'm trying to connect with anyone who may have information about the parentage of either of these people. I can't find any definite record of either person before the 1850 census, and there are so many Johnsons that I have no idea who was or wasn't connected with them.
