my grandmother was a stancil....her name was nancy jane ...i think....she had brothers monroe, charlie, and george stancil....they lived in catoosa county....right on the tennessee line....

would love to have any info i can get, as i am just starting the search and the "elders" of the family wouldn't talk "about the past" very much....and most died before i was born...sooooo......am flying blind for the most part

i do know uncle george was convicted and served time for murder in the late 50's.....and died in chattanooga tn...

my grandmother married james wolfe and they had 4 children

howard alvin, james jerome (romey), bertha may, and mary elizabeth (jean)
