An trying to locate David C. Hinds who was married to Mary Joy and lived in Monroe County, Ohio at the beginning of the Civil War. Their son, John Melvin m to Rebecca Jane Wilford of Penn. lived across the Ohio River in Pleasants County, WV. He enlisted in the Ohio Vo. so evidently had gone to his parents, David and Mary before actually joining up. Any information or imput on this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanx Ramona
