We have started a Maples surname dna project at familytreedna.com. We have a small group that have donated money to do a dna test on a Maples man whose family was in S.C., N.C. and Ga. from about 1820-1850.

Anyone can sign up and order test or contribute to the group fund for other Y-Chromosome DNA tests as well as Mtdna and Native American test & others. Check the site out and learn about dna.
