The immigrant Johann Georg Huntzinger was born Aug. 18, 1715 in Widdern, Germany and arrived in Philadelphia, Pa. On Oct. 02, 1749 He had 2 sons, Johann George Huntzinger and Bernard George Huntzinger. Both sons served in the Revolutionry war. Most of Johann's descendants kept the Huntzinger spelling while most of Bernard's used the Hunsinger spelling.
