I am looking for info on Samuel Hatfield, born before 1778 probably in South Carolina. He died in South Carolina and had three sons, John Joseph Tarpley Hatfield, Samuel Parker or Pollard Hatfield and ????George Washington Hatfield. I am at a dead end with Samuel. He or his father may have fought in the Rev. War in the Battle of Camden and a Saml Hatfield is listed among Gen. Sumter's Brigade.
