I was wondering if anyone had any information about the Jackson family who lived at Pincher Creek during the 1940s and who boarded troops on leave during WW11. They had 2 daughters that I know of - Marion and Mary. From a letter written by Mary to my mum I gather there was a large family because it was an empty 10 room house with the rest of the family away. My uncle boarded there when on leave from RAAF training in 1943/44 and his letters gave a glowing report of their hospitality. Would love to know more about this family.
