If there is anyone out there that might know something about the 8th Regiment troup D.... I have been trying to locate information on my Great Grandfather Thomas Floyd Madden. He enlisted January 6 1902. He was discharged January 5 1905 . I have a picture of him in uniform on his horse..I was told he was a roughrider,but have found nothing to verify these claims.In his obit it says he was the last known survivor of the Spanish American war...PLEASE HELP if you have any information that might help me.
