Looking for descendants that belong to the SCURLOCK family that lived in Carmarthen and the envirions in the 1600's to 1900's. I do know that there is quitea few of the Scurlock family that lived around Abergwilli, Lllanginin areas just outside the town of Carmarthen. The farm of Blaencorse which was owned by the HARRIES in the early days, I believe that the Scurlock family lived there also. My gggGrandmother JANE says she was born there about the 1700's. I haven't got an exact date of her birth. She married a EVAN DAVID in Laugharne in 1793. and they had quite a big family.Elizabeth, John,William,Anne,David,Thomas,Mary. Jennet. all born between 1794 and 1808 all born in Laugharne. Which is a little village right on the seashore. south of Carmarthen. A very pretty spot. But may be I am biased.
