I'm trying to expand my family tree, but I'm stuck on my father. I know he was adopted from Canada to family in the Chicago area, but he died when I was young and don't know much about his family (adopted or biological). I'm not sure how to even start searching for his records, nor what to be looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
