Looking for information on this line of Neuberts. The information I have so far is. My mother Joan. Her parents William O. Neubert married to Erma Allem. My g grandfather was William Lewis Neubert married to Jenny May Koder. g.g.grandfather is Michael Neubert married to Eliza Otten.

I would love to trace this line back to Germany as on my grandfather's death bed he began to cry and told us that we had lived a lie that we were not full German that Neubert was in fact British. I can't explain why this is such a big deal but it is to the entire older generation of the family for some reason.
