By doing a first name search, I finally found WILLIAM GASKIN ON THE 1880 MADISON COUNTY FL CENSUS LISTED AS BASKIN.

If anyone out there is looking for a William Gaskin, please contact me. This William m. Ann Nancy Poppell Kirkland in Jefferson County FL abt. 1862 and apparently had two children, Ella Mattie & Mahala Rebecca Gaskin. But on the 1880 census, his wife is listed as Malinda.
