I am attempting to help a friend find information regarding his father who was adopted as a child. Little information is known about the adoption and those who may have known are now deceased. Roy Dexter Wilson was born 06 Apr 1933 in Fredonia, NY. His birth mother is believed to be Mary Jane Hayes. At some point, Roy was adopted but it's unknown if he was an infant or young child at the time. Upon adoption, Roy was renamed Laroy Carlton Burgess.
