PRESSLEY / VESS / DARNELL / HARGROVE

I am stopped cold at Jackson PRESLEY b 1832 married Sarah Jane VESS b 1836. They m 1857 Henderson County, NC. One census record places Jackson's place of birth as SC, another as NC. They had four known children: William Thomas, James Franklin, Montraville and Jerallis / Jerables.

William married a Hargrove, James is my great grandfather, and he married two daughters of William and Diadema DARNELL PRESLEY of Buncombe Co. (Caroline who died 1891, and Nancy Adaline.) I do not know what became of the other two sons.
