Hi Thomas...
I went to Gracelawn Cementary yesterday and found some information on my Flewelling ancestor,James H. and James Edward(his son) I was told by the cemetary office that James H is NOT buried in that cementary. His son James Edward and wife K. Elizabeth are buried there.(section D lot 134)After digging under alot of lawn I found the graves. I was told by the staffJames Edwards birth date was 8/20/1875 and his death date was 7/13/1934&that he died from a skull fracture. That information saddened me terribly. His wife was listed on their records and on the plot marker as "Elizabeth" (No Katherine listed)Her birthdate is listed as 5/21-1877 and death date as 9/17/1921 from "intestinal nepharitis" I am not sure what that is...Also her mother was Angeline Delonjay and her father was Frank Sanborn. Since James H. is NOT in Gracelawn, I am going to look in Aventine Cementary in Flint MI.(not that far for me as I live in Ann Arbor)My info has his wife Eleanor buried there so I am guessing that he is next to her.I can postgreat grandma's obit (MINNIE) I found on another site from Tina Kernan and a poster named Barbara that Minnie's sister ELINA first married Eugene Pratt and had a son and daughter. She died young in 1901?and then Eugene Pratt married Elina's sister Maude. My mother remembers her great Aunt Maude and also that she did not have any kids with Eugene. I have tried every way I can to contact Tina Kernan and this other poster Barbara but I have not had any luck. If they contact you, please give them my name and email address(carachapina@yahoo.com) I would like to contact my cousins to get more info and possible photos. You probably would like to change your info on Eugene (you list his children as from a "previous marriage"and theyare but from Maude sister Elina)and the info on the two James'.I am photographing the Flewelling ancestors I find...If you would like any sent to you when I get done, please do not hesitiate! I am looking forward to going to Beamsville this summer!
