Hi i dont know if this post is on the right board but here goes; I have found that a relative of mine had 2 adopted daughters. Im not sure if this was an official adoption or an unofficial adoption (the children moved in sometime between 1901 and 1911 and were aged 13 and 15 on the 1911 census). When my relative died in 1936 the eldest girl registered his death and was noted as being his daugter so it would seem that they certainly stayed in close contact. I have found the children on the 1901 census with their birth parents and siblings and was wondering how i could add all this information into my family tree. Does anyone have any suggestions?
