My Mother, Julia Marie Gaddis, was born in Tishomingo,Okla., as were her borthers and sisters. She is the daughter of William Gaddis,born in 1883,Tenn., and Bettie Lee Sheppard, born in 1889 in Little Rock,Pulaski Co.,Ark. Together they had Lemuel "Lem" Gaddis,Richard Haden Gaddis, Nora Helen Gaddis,Betty Lucille Gaddis, John Daniel Gaddis, Julia Marie Gaddis, Douglas Cornelious Gaddis, and Bettie Sheppard's son from a previous marriage, Sherman Barnes.
