I am looking for information or descendants of Mahala Davis b.1818 in S. C. and moved to Abbeville, Ms. with her parents ,Samuel and Mary Davis in 1838. She and her husband, David Anderson moved to the Cotton Plant, Ar. area in Woodruff Co. and lived there in a log home that supposedly is still remaining today and one of the earliest structures left in the area. Their children were: James Robert, Samuel Washington,Thomas Blackstock, Kate Eugenia who m. Alex Brown, Ella Mahala who m. W. A. Gallegly,and Chesley David who m. Maria Hawks.
