Hello all! I am the great granddaughter of Irene Berhow, she gave my grandmother Margaret (last name Hill, maiden surname by adoption was Byrd) up for adoption in either 1928 or 1929. My grandmother was from Iowa. She recently passed away about a week ago, and I'm just trying to gather information about my ancestry and roots. I would love to know if anyone has any info on Irene Berhow in Iowa, (assuming she is deceased now) I would love to hear from any possible aunts, uncles, or cousins! There is no father listed on my grandmothers birth certificate so I unfortunately do not know who my biological great grandfather is. I've seen a couple of pictures of someone named Irene Berhow, I believe on another geneology website, and she seemed to have had some facial characteristics that my grandmother, family and I all share, she was also from Iowa and her husband was a Bappe, but not sure if he could be my grandmothers biological father?
