Classification: Query
Surnames: Polson, Bowles, Baker
Hi everyone,
I am trying to found more information concerning my great, great grandfather, John Polson. He married Margie Bowles (first name may be mispelled). I only know of one of their children, which is Lee Otis Polson, my great grandfather. He was born on Jan 7, 1902, so that puts John and Margie being born in the 1800's. To my knowledge they lived in SC, but I may be wrong. Lee Otis married Pauline Baker, and their son, Jesse Lee Polson, Sr. is my grandfather. If anyone can help me locate more info on John, I'd be very grateful, especially if someone could help me get his middle name, date of birth, date he died, ANY info on his parents, especially the Polson lineage.

BTW,
I've been doing alot of research concerning the Polson name and from what I've found, we all originated in Scotland as part of Clan Mackay. Part of the clan migrated to Denmark, Germany, Sweden, England, and God only knows where else before they came to America. One interesting fact is that all of Clan Mackay are distance cousins of Macbeth, King of Scots.

Thanks,
Jason Lee Polson
