I have a cousins match with a brother and sister but what seems odd to me is that the brother is listed as a 2nd cousin with 99% confidence and the sister is listed as a 3rd cousin with 98% confidence. what could cause the discrepancy?
My second question is how would a half brother or sister show up on the DNA test? Being adopted, I have no real knowledge of my birth family but from what I was told my birth mother was young and unwed when she had me so having half brother or half sister is very possible. Would it be possible that they would show up as a cousin since we would only share 1 parent?
